- Minimum and maximum sizes, slot limits, bag limits — seasons and gear requirements for every species.
- State and federal waters shown separately — both limits displayed and labelled, so you know which applies where you are.
- Freshwater too — switch between Florida Saltwater and Florida Freshwater from the title. Statewide bag and length limits for black bass, panfish, crappie, striped bass, peacock bass, shad and eel, with 44 freshwater species and FWC’s own identification notes.
- Named waters — the special limits on named lakes and rivers and the rules for every Fish Management Area, each water on its own page, so at the boat ramp you can see what differs there. A species page tells you how many waters treat it differently.
- Entirely offline — regulations and more than 230 illustrations are built in — nothing is fetched while you’re reading.
- Updates in the background — when FWC changes a rule the app applies it and tells you which species changed and what changed.
- Search or browse — by name, or by category — snappers, groupers, jacks, sharks, drums, basses, sunfishes, catfishes and the rest.
- Full-colour illustration for every species — tap to fill the screen, pinch to zoom.
- Photo ID — take or choose a photo of your catch and the app suggests the most likely species, then puts your photo beside the illustration and the identification notes so you confirm it yourself before opening the regulation. Look-alikes — gag and black grouper, king and Spanish mackerel, red and lane snapper, permit and pompano — are always shown together with how to tell them apart. On the freshwater side it knows the basses, sunfishes, crappie and catfishes. Runs entirely on the phone; photos never leave the device. The same recognizer as IDMyFish, tuned to Florida species.

Where the data comes from: saltwater and freshwater regulations are extracted from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission publications and reviewed before each release. The app always shows the date of the data it is holding. This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by FWC. Regulations change — verify against the current FWC rules before keeping a fish.
